Hemp Complex FAQ - QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
The CBD and CBG directory of knowledge (FAQ) helps users navigate the maze of choosing the right Hemp Complex oil for them.
CBD FAQ :
CBD oils are being manufactured by a variety of methods, thus there is a significant difference in quality and therapeutic use between the resulting products.
Here are a few thoughts in advance to assist the understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of action of CBD oils. Human endocannabinoid system , which is a superior mechanism regulating human biochemistry responsible for the homeostasis, that is the healthy balance of the entire human body, came into scientific focus in the 1990s. Fitocannabinoids are organic chemical compounds that are able to bind to our receptors, stimulating our endocannabinoid system and encouraging our body to function better.
In the view of this it is easy to grasp how it can support the human body to solve multiple or even interconnected problems, thanks to its balancing and regulatory effect.

Hemp oil, also known as hemp seed oil, is made from hemp, a cannabis sativa plant like the drug marijuana but containing little to no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the chemical that gets people “high.” Instead of THC, hemp contains cannabidiol (CBD), a chemical that has been used to treat everything from epilepsy to anxiety.
Hemp Complex dosage
Although contemporary medicine accurately maps out and identifies our basic physiological functions, all of our important measurable parameters differ from person to person. Everyone has a uniquely different blood pressure and PH value, pace and efficacy of metabolism, physical and mental reactions to the stimuli of the outside world – of course within the average range of measures. In other words, we are extremely diverse, born with a unique number of receptors and our endocannabinoid system may be adversely affected by possible faulty diets, stressed out lifestyles and other harmful environmental impacts.
Keeping the above mentioned in mind, all cases differ and only the individual experiences can lead to the correct dosage!
For this reason, self-observation is very important. Even in similar conditions there may be different, even opposite effects from person to person!
Concerning dosage in general, one needs to think in treatment sessions with the duration of 1-3 months!
In the process of creating the therapeutic dose required for the individual, one can start treatment with a couple of drops in the evening and then switch to taking it 3 times (every 8 hours) per day. Later the ingestion can be increased by one drop on each occasion until the desired effect is achieved. When having light symptoms and complaints (indigestion, sleep disturbances, anxiety, infections, milder inflammations, in case of skin problems the oil can be applied topically) or when using it preventively, products with a lower CBD content of 3-5% are recommended, while with more severe indications (tumors, resistant bacterial infections, severe digestive diseases e.g. Crohn, IBS… etc.)
We recommend taking preparations with CBD content of 3-20%.
In our experience in the latter more severe conditions, exceeding the ideal daily dose has a very mild sedative effect which can easily be eliminated by reducing the daily dosage by 1-1-1 drops per occasion, thus reaching the therapeutic dose!
It is important to note that if your doctor is open to the use of alternative therapies complementing standard medicine, be sure to consult with him about your intention to consume CBD oil!

The level of LD50 (lethal dose) depicted in animal studies excludes the possibility of poisoning or death for any commercially available product for human use, even in extremely high dosage administration routine. In human clinical trials when high doses were administered, a mild sedative effect was observed in some cases.

In all cases, we recommend a treatment session, the duration of which is 1-3 months! After observing the effects of the processes in our body during the course of the treatment, it is worthwhile striving to maintain these positive changes. Transforming our nutrition, stress management and excluding other factors that negatively affect our quality of life can significantly help us to maintain a higher quality to our physiological health.

In the event of pregnancy and during breastfeeding, the fundamental physiological processes of a woman’s body change significantly. Up to date, there has been very little human research in these areas and for this reason the consumption of CBD in the above mentioned circumstances is not recommended.

CBD and other phytocannabinoids may potentially interact with the active ingredients of several drugs by inhibiting the activity of the cytochrome P450 enzyme system, which is a member of the liver enzyme group responsible for the breakdown of active substances.
CBD inhibits the function of cytochrome P450 enzymes, and as a result it takes longer for our liver to break down the active ingredients of the drugs, therefore they tend to last longer in our body. At the following link we will publish the conclusion of results of a recent research on the active ingredients of contemporary drugs and the process of their breakdown within the context of enzymic background.

By cannabinoids we mean compounds similarly produced by both the human body and by the hemp plant which play a significant role in maintaining our homeostasis, that is the internal balance of our body.
Currently there are two known types of endocannabinoids – anandamide (arachidonoiletanolamide) and 2-AG (arachidonoyl glycerin) – which our body produces according to its specific needs in order to maintain our internal equilibrium.
Phytocannabinoids are a group of compounds in the hemp plant containing more than 140 members. Its best-known members are: CBD, CBG, CBC, CBDV, CBN, THC. These phytocannabinoids are able to bind to our receptors, thereby stimulating our endocannabinoid system.
Endocannabinoid System in the human body
Its existence was discovered by research doctors in the early 1990s. Since then, it has been revealed that this chemical superior control mechanism is not exclusive to the human body, but it belongs to all vertebrate organisms. Our endocannabinoid system is responsible for the general equilibrium of the functioning of our bodies. This is homeostasis – the maintenance of the dynamic consistency of our internal environment.
Thus it can well be claimed the most important characteristics of living organisms and the most important basic concept of physiology.
Both endocannabinoids (our own internally produced compounds) and phytocannabinoids (produced by the hemp plant) connect and act with the help of three types of receptors in our body, known as CB1, CB2, CB3. Our receptors are found throughout the body, in significant quantities in the nervous system (most of them in the areas of the brain) but they also occur in our internal organs and other bodily tissues and joints.
Two endocannabinoids are known to date – anandamide (arachidonoiletanolamide) and 2-AG (arachidonoyl glycerin) – which our body produces according to our needs to maintain our internal equilibrium.
Phytocannabinoids is the name of a group of compounds containing more than 140 members in the hemp plant. Its best-known are: CBD, CBG, CBC, CBDV, CBN, THC. These phytocannabinoids are able to bind to our receptors, thereby stimulating our endocannabinoid system and by proxy stimulating our body to function at a healthier level.

ECS was discovered in the 1990s, which is a chemically operated superior control system that is responsible for our homeostasis – which is the internal balance of the body!
Endocannabinoids and phytocannabinoids from the hemp plant bind to our body by using 3 receptors CB1, CB2 and CB3. These receptors are found throughout the body, in significant quantities in the nervous system (most of the brain) but they also occur in our internal organs, other body tissues and joints! At this point in time, there are two known endocannabinoids: anandamide (arachidonoyl-ethanolamide) and 2AG (arachidonoil glycerin) which our body produces according to our specific needs to maintain our equilibrium!
Phytocannabinoids are a group of compounds found in the hemp plant, the elements of which are able to bind to our receptors, thus stimulating ECS, thereby stimulating our body to function at a higher quality!
Research and medical experience conclusively shows that the effect of CBD oils is closely related to the presence of various elements of the plant matrix. This is explained by the entourage effect, meaning through synergy, efficiency of various active substances may be enhanced, even multifold. The more constituents they contain, the higher their therapeutic value!

Cannabidiol is one of the main constituent elements of the active substance matrix of the hemp plant. In addition to its many physiologically beneficial properties, it can be said to be a stronger antioxidant than vitamins C and E.
It’s not a psychotropic compound, meaning it has no mind-altering effect.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the most common non-psychotropic cannabinoids in the hemp plant.
CBD does not have a significant interaction with the CB1 receptor, meaning it is not psychoactive, nonetheless it can bind to a range of other receptors.
It is effective in case of epileptic seizures, pain, inflammation, cancer, autoimmune diseases as well as many other maladies. CBD has been shown to be more effective in some cases than other cannabinoids and traditional pharmacy drugs.
In research, CBD displayed outstanding antioxidant effects with studies showing it is 30% and 50% stronger than vitamin E and vitamin C.
It has been proven that the combination of different cannabinoids has a stronger effect than any cannabinoids on their own which is called the Entourage Effect.

When talking about cannabinoids, we know they have a wide range of health benefits and CBD is the most recognized of them. Over time as research on Cannabis plants progressed, CBDA, the acid-form precursor of CBD has proven to be extremely promising. Cannabidiolic acid, also known as CBDA is a phytocannabinoid found in the hemp plant. CBDA was first isolated in the 1950s. Over the past few years, research into CBDA has begun revealing that in many cases it works the same way as CBD but has a number of important advantages.
Benefits of the increased efficacy of CBDA
The question is, why CBDA is more efficient than CBD? Many people misunderstand the pharmacological expression of efficacy. Greater efficacy does not mean that it is works more intensively, but rather that it exerts its effect at much lower doses.
Bioefficacy of orally administered CBDA from plant extract was somewhat higher than that of pure CBD, suggesting increased absorption of the naturally derived substance. (” Entourage effect “)
Although there is no clinical data on CBDA only, interestingly the biological usability of CBD was roughly twice as high when 42% of the total amount of CBD (decarboxylated CBD + CBDA) of oral extract was introduced to the body in the acidic form, i.e. CBDA active ingredient. Therefore, such a partially decarboxylized extract not only equals the amount of biologically accessible CBD equals to the fully decarboxylated extract, but also it offers the additional advantages of the functional CBDA.

Cannabigerol (CBG) is not a psychotropic substance, so it has no mind-altering effect and it is suggested that it blocks the psychotropic effects of THC. It is found only in very small quantities in the processed plant material and in the products prepared from them but due to its regulatory effect on other cannabinoids, its presence is very important in the progress of therapeutic effects.
With regard to the nervous system, it has already been proven through research that it stimulates neurogenesis, that is the formation and growth of nerve cells in the brain and improves the quality of their functioning. What makes CBG particularly valuable is the unique rarity of a naturally occurring compound that which supports neurogenesis.
Areas of medicinal application:
- Analgesic
- Antibacterial
- Antidepressant
- Antifungal
- Antiepileptic
- Anti-inflammatory
- Promotes bone formation
- Antitumor
- Anti-proliferating
- Appetizing
Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGA) is the “primary” cannabinoid!
This compound is the precursor to three main cannabinoid branches: tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) and cannabichromene acid (CBCA). From these acid forms, synthases – that are the natural enzymes of the plant – can convert CBGA into different additional cannabinoids. CBGA occurs in very small quantities in the hemp plant and is difficult to keep in crude, raw form because it is sensitive to heat and light. Thus, its extraction requires special processes and the use of more raw material (industrial hemp) in comparison to CBDA/CBD oils. This compound is often referred to as the Rolls-Royce of cannabinoids.

CBD is legal. The pure active substance itself is not subject to any prohibiting regulations and it is a freely marketable uncontrolled substance.

Hemp oils are typically made by pressing food-grade hemp seeds, which process can be done cold or hot and the end product can be filtered or unfiltered. They are rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals but do NOT contain cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and other ingredients!
CBD oils, in addition to the active substance also indicated in their name, may contain additional cannabinoids, volatile substances, flavonoids and many more ingredients, having significantly higher therapeutic value.
CBD knowledge base
Taking into account research and medical experience, it can be concluded that the effect of CBD oils is closely related to the presence of various elements of the plant matrix. This is explained by the Entourage Effect, which can even enhance the effects of various active substances through combined cooperation. In short, the more constituents CBD oils contain, the higher their therapeutic value!
Hemp Complex products typically contain the full spectrum of phyto-cannabinoids (CBD, THC, CBG, CBC, CBN, CBDV etc.) a significant part of which is also present in acidic form, from the range of volatile substances the terpenes, di-terpenes, sesquifers (limonen, pinen, linallol, myrcene, betacaryophyllene,… etc.), flavonoids and other antioxidants, chlorophyll, essential fatty acids, phenols, vitamins, waxes and many other biologically active constituents. Based on the research and the experience of doctors and other medical professionals working with us, we recommend the consumption of Hemp Complex products containing 3-5% CBD for preventive use and light complaints such as indigestion, sleep disturbances, anxiety, respiratory and other infections, mild inflammations and symptoms – in case of skin diseases topical use is also recommended.
Our capsules provide a solution for those who are more sensitive to intensive smells and flavors, hence capsules eliminate this inconvenience.
Our full spectrum RAW+ products contain all the components of our full-spectrum (Hemp Complex) oils, their carrier oil being the same as well which is hemp seed oil. Their main characteristic is rawness and also they contain additional full spectrum heated CBD extract from the group of compounds of cannabinoids in greater quantities than the natural proportions from the matrix of the plant’s initial active substances. Since the other useful groups of compounds are also present, which typically improve and regulate the effectiveness of CBD, the added plant based pure active ingredient can lead to more pronounced dynamic effects thanks the entourage effect. Based on research and experience of doctors and medical professionals who work with us, we recommend the consumption of Raw+ preparations with 10-20% CBD content in case of more serious conditions such as tumors and proliferative diseases, resistant bacterial infections, serious digestive diseases e.g. Crohn or IBS.
Our isolate-based XTR products from the cannabinoid compound group contain only CBD (cannabidiol) in active substance concentrations of 5-10%.
In these types of oils the THC content is 0 % !!! The safest form for all CBD users. Their carrier oil is MCT, which has many physiologically beneficial properties. (Medium-chain fatty acids: capryl acid, capryl, its benefits being the rapid utilization through the formation of ketone bodies, thus creating effective energy supply to the brain and other tissues.)
Another advantage is that it is free of the characteristic tastes and smells typical of the hemp plant! Some consumer groups (e.g. elderly) may be more sensitive to intensive flavors and smells, which does not occur within this product group.
Last but not least, these are available at a significantly lower price than our full spectrum and full spectrum raw+ products. Based on consumption patterns and research, we can recommend these in particular in case of milder indications or in preventive application, especially for groups of consumers who are often drug-tested due to their profession.

Among the products legally marketed in Hungary, only THC-free products or ones containing extremely small amounts of THC (0.2%) are available. Furthermore, it is important to know that CBD and THC are antagonists of each other, which means they extinguish each other’s effects. Since these products have an order of magnitude larger CBD ratios, we cannot experience psychotropic effects when consuming them!
CBD knowledge base
Suspending the use of CBD at different doses does not cause withdrawal symptoms! When setting the dosage, the principle of graduality is authoritative. Since the tolerance level to it does not increase, the previously set doses during the treatment course (1-3 months) do not need to be modified, therefore upping the dose is not recommended.

In each case, individual experiences determine the individual regime.
It is important to know that if CBD oil is taken while eating fatty foods, its biological utilization increases significantly. The rate of increase can even multiply 40-fold, which evidence is supported by blood-sampled tests.

We are keeping a close eye on the presence of heavy metals and pesticides in all of our cultivated lands of agriculture.
During bloom, NÉBIH (National Food Chain Safety Office) takes samples and examines THC content. In addition, we are having plant substances analyzed for heavy metal, pesticide, cannabinoid, terpene content and microbiological parameters several times during processing, before and after extraction.
CBD knowledge base
The presence of heavy metals and pesticides is already controlled at the place of cultivation.
During the flowering period, NÉBIH (National Food Chain Safety Office) takes samples and examines THC content. Plant substances are analyzed several times during processing for heavy metals, pesticides, cannabinoids, terpenes and microbiological parameters before and after the harvesting.
In the next step of our manufacturing processes, we assemble our product in a laboratory and we’re sending them for analytics. When all quality standards and parameters are met, they will be packed.

One of the main advantages of CBD oils is their close to zero toxicity, thus the chance of poisoning can be excluded.
Compared to other drugs humans use to treat conditions, CBD has a significantly lower side effect profile. Suspending the use of CBD at different doses does not cause withdrawal symptoms!
CBD knowledge base
The two most common side effects associated with CBD consumption are sleepiness and sedation. These effects are dose dependent and increase with the combination of epileptic drugs, including clobazam and valproate as well as other central nervous system depressants (including alcohol).
Other rarely occurring side effects were fatigue, diarrhea, nausea and liver damage.
Overall, the prevalence of these is very low, and compared to other drugs used to treat diseases, CBD has a significantly better side effect profile.
The duration of treatment is another important factor, as data on side effects following long-term CBD use is less readily available.
It is important to draw consumers’ attention to the fact that CBD may affect the ability to drive and operate heavy machinery.
CBD knowledge base
When storing CBD oils, two important facts must be kept in mind: there are components of multiple groups of compounds present that are either sensitive to heat or UV radiation. These components can be destroyed or transformed under the influence of radiant heat or sunlight.
They do not require refrigeration storage, the normal room temperature (18-25C) and protection from sunlight ensures that our products fully retain their intrinsic values within the expiry date.

Our raw materials always come from industrial hemp varieties grown in Hungary!
During the course of production based on current legislation in force, only the strains registered in the official domestic and EU hemp variety list are being cultivated.

Yes, CBD consumption has a place in all elite sports, as it is important both during preparation and competitions requiring great effort that the athlete is in good mental and physical condition.
Usually elite sportsmen are in top physical condition, but the intensity of their sport activities far exceeds that of the average person. This intensity carries serious risks in addition to minor injuries, sprains, pulls, muscle tears as well as major traumas (e.g. fractures) which also occur. The CBD oil therapy helps facing mental challenges. During therapeutic consumption, we can experience that under the umbrella of cannabinoid protection we become less susceptible to infectious respiratory diseases, the status of our musculoskeletal organs improve and injuries characteristic of our chosen sport occur less often or not at all. In addition, during the resting period following high-effort competitions, the athlete’s body may regenerate faster than usual and the desired dynamic balance of the body can be achieved in a shorter period time.
Since in 2019, when WADA published a resolution on athletes’ use of CBD oil which specifically recommends it to athletes, we have been seeing more and more news reports about the expressive support of use of CBD oils coming from sports federations.

In the event of pregnancy as well as breastfeeding, the fundamental physiological functions of a woman’s body changes significantly. Up to date, very little human research has been conducted in these areas, so the consumption of CBD in these circumstances is currently not recommended. At the same time, it is important to know that breast milk is a uniquely rich source of endocannabinoids for our children and in justified cases CBD oil can be used from the age of 2, as evidenced by medical practice.
CBD knowledge base
In December 2017, the WHO published a study on CBD that found no negative health risks when using CBD. Based on this, CBD is considered safe and can also be used by children.
It is important to note that CBD is not psychoactive! Due to the versatility of the application, CBD is currently being successfully used in a multitude of different indications, including epilepsy, ADD / ADHD, sleep disorders and anxiety related disorders. These issues are especially common in children. Normally, these problems are treated with synthetic medications which may cause serious side effects, while much research has proven the application of CBD being a properly successful alternative treatment, during which much less side effects are detected.

Main terpenes in the industrial hemp
Terpenes and terpenoids are those compounds inside the hemp plant, which endow the plants and their extracts with a multitude of aromas and distinguishable flavours. Every Cannabis subspecies possesses a unique terpene profile, which differentiates its structure and terpene concentration. Terpenes are the main compounds found in the volatile substances of plants.
Out of the multitude of compounds that are found in the hemp plant, more than 200 terpenes and terpenoids were identifyed. Terpenes are basically essential oils. Even though cannabinoids occur in greater proportions inside the hemp plant, but terpenes have a certain regulatory function with which they are able to influence the impact of hemp extract (CBD oil) on the human body.

Why are terpenes and terpenoids important?
Why are terpenes and terpenoids important?
Similairly to cannabinoids, terpenes also bind to the receptors of the brain, hence stimulating various effects and influencing the chemical excretion of neurotransmitters, and having an impact on the dopamine and serotonine levels as well. Research proves the versatile effect of terpenes (see: aromatherapy), for example:
-Anti-inflammatory effect
-Analgestic effect
– Sopophoric effect
Research had also shone light on the fact that terpenes interact with such cannabinoids as CBD and THC, thus improving the body’s homeostasy by means of “synergy”. All naturally occuring constituents of the hemp plant – terpenes, cannabinoids and other natural compounds – work together synergetically to enhance and boost the benevolent features of the plant. Research findings suggest that isolated Cannabis compounds are less efficacious compared to all natural constituents working in unison.

Presently flavonoids are being divided into 13 different compound groups, including 4000 defined, variously structured flavonoids. Flavonoids are most well-known about their antioxidant propeties. The flavonoids occuring in hemp are called cannaflavins, so far almost 20 have been identifyed. Read more about flavonoids here!

What is the synergistic effect?
What is the synergistic effect?
Each terpenes and flavonoids possess their own, unique implications. When interacting with cannabonoids, they may amplify, or even multiply each other’s therapeutical influences. Researchers have found that the flavonoids occuring in hemp, for example:beta-sitosterine, vitexine, isovitexine, apigenine, kempferole, kvercetine, luteoline and orientine along with cannabinoids and terpenes they result a synegrical effect. This is what we call synergistic effect. In this case, various ingredients are able to work together effectively, therefore it is possible to raise or lessen the impact according to the necessities of the body. The concurrent presence of cannabinoids and terpenes cumulate a higher quality effect than the non-full spectrum, heat treated CBD oils.
Why choose raw hemp extract?
Why choose raw hemp extract?
Only raw hemp extracts contain the full spectrum of cannabinoids and other beneficial compounds, such as terpenes, flavonoids and essential fatty acids. During the production process we avoid any heat treatment method, therefore the cannabinoid acids, terpenes and other useful compound groups are left intact in our products. Hemp plant in its raw form contains a significantly higher proportion of CBDA than CBD. Regarding the use of CBD oils it is easily observable that the more acidic components it has, the more effective and safer it is. When met with thermal stress, CBDA transforms into CBD. The biological merits of CBD are only a fracture of CBDA. Our raw Hemp Complex does not only feature mostly phytocannabinoids in their acidic form, but also contains significant amounts of thermounstable terpenoid and flavonoid compound groups.
We avoid heat treatment technologies during manufacturing, such as decarboxilation, and for this reason the cannabinoid acids, terpenes and other beneficial compound groups are being left intact in our products. Hemp in its raw state contains both CBD and CBDA. As the result of the process we gain the purest and most natural CBD oil, which contains cannabinoids, terpenes and many more natural compounds, which are able to employ their effect thanks to their synergistic collaboration.
